Welcome to Yellow Chair Therapy

Individual Psychotherapy

Sometimes life can feel a bit too much, leaving us feeling isolated, overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful thinking patterns and pretending that we are ok. Personalized one-to-one sessions can help you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a welcoming, inclusive, non-judgemental and confidential setting. We work together to address your specific concerns and goals, helping you to understand why your past looked the way it did and how your future can be different.

I work with a range of client concerns including:

  • abuse

  • anxiety

  • bereavement

  • bullying

  • burnout

  • family issues

  • infant loss

  • low self-esteem

  • life transitions

  • relationships

  • separation

  • stress

  • trauma

ADHD Support

ADHD is a life-long neurobiological condition which, although can be described as a 'superpower', can also lead to feelings of overwhelm, low self-esteem and issues in managing work, study and relationships.

Support for adults and young people with ADHD (15+)

I provide specialised therapy, strategies and support for adults and young people with ADHD, focusing on your strengths, coping mechanisms, and organisational skills as well as helping you to explore some of the more challenging feelings which ADHD can bring.

Support for non-ADHD partners and parents

Part of a meaningful, happy life is satisfying relationships, but sometimes ADHD can put additional pressure on partners and parents to be 'good team mates', creating feelings of powerlessness for all members of the family. Therapy can be a space for you to be heard, and help non-ADHD partners and parents to better understand the condition, reframe experiences and navigate complex emotional dynamics.

Taking the first step can be daunting, but I'm here to make it as smooth as possible. Reach out to discuss your needs and how we can work together
